Internet marketing covers all activities on the web. Yet successful Internet marketing is not possible without a broad base. The production of websites, their optimization, and online advertising activities are inseparable from the overall corporate marketing concept.
If we were to try to simplify the various interpretations of the conventional term of 'marketing', we would probably conclude that it is a set of processes aimed at selling a product or service. It entails pricing, sales support (publicity, promotion, advertising), activity planning and monitoring, the evaluation of results, distribution, etc.
Each individual process plays a part, and the specific conditions dictate what areas are worth paying more attention to.
